Valantinas’ serious interest in cynology started in 1995. He breeds American Staffordshire Terriers and Welsh Corgi Pembrokes under the prefix “Zanavykus”

He is one of the Sakiai regional Dog Lovers Club founders and club President.

He has been a National category judge since 2007 and an international judge since 2012. In 2019, he was confirmed as an All Breeds judge. Valantinas has judged internation and specialised breed dog shows in Finland, Norway, Swedan, Estonia, Latvia, Italy, France, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Australia.
